SHOU TOUT

SHOU TOUT
Well, here is a shout out for this weekend’s shows. As always, please call to reserve. I will address the next few months in the next e-mail as we have a very ambitious schedule of events coming our way. AND also one survey to wit:

Who among you would pay $20 to hear Fred Eaglesmith & Band on Monday July 23rd. He has just that one open date and is passing through our area on his way to god knows where. There are many, many Fred Heads in this world. I will give you no clue but I am looking for a certain level of response before I decide one way or the other to pursue this most unusual night on which to run music in our venue.

Each time they pass through Wisconsin they garner new and additional fans. May you find out tonight.

PATCHOULI $7.50

Each time they pass out in Wisconsin it occurs at the Carpe. This Quintet with the revolving name are still looking for the secret handshake of a name that will herd many more to hear.

BILL CAMPLIN & THE MAY EYES $8

Each time they come here to read a play we get enthusiastic and treat it as if it is the first time. It is. After springing forth a family in Fort Atkinson, Ms. Gobel has sprung forth in Milwaukee’s theater arts scene as an actress, writer, director, and co-creator of the Milwaukee based UPROOTED THEATRE. Mr. Hanreddy is the former artistic director of the Milwaukee Rep and has acted, authored, and directed for decades. He currently teaches Directing and Design at UW-Milwaukee and continues to pursue and capture all of these same. A special afternoon for sure to bring nonpareil talent to the Cafe Carpe.
