The Bluegrass Cavaliers are one of Wisconsin’s finest bluegrass bands…they just didn’t know it. Born out of past endeavors and common bonds they are ready to take the world, well maybe Fort Atkinson by storm (no small task). The pedigrees run deep with this ensemble, featuring Monroe Bluegrass Boy alum Mark Hembree on bass, vocal and loquacious story telling; one of Wisconsin’s finest, Jon Peik, on banjo and fashion trend setting; the outstanding flat picking’ guitar and vocalist, Seth ‘yes he can actually hold a note that long’ Forester; Monroe mandolin disciple and misplaced ‘Chicago Bears’ fan oddly infatuated by the team color, Brian Ray; and last but not least (but very close), Wisconsin ‘longbow’ fiddler and frugalist, Paul Kienitz.
