RACHEL DREW is a Chicago-based singer-songwriter with a soulful voice and a songwriting style that blends folk, rock, country, and blues. She’s played with Ernie Hendrickson, Steve Dawson, Chicago Farmer, and Dave Ramont, all of whom have recently graced your stage. She’s also shared the spotlight with Robbie Fulks, The Waco Brothers, and Brennen Leigh, performing at FitzGerald’s, The Hideout, and SPACE in Chicago.
Joining her on guitar is JOHN SYZMANSKI, a seasoned player with deep roots in the Midwest music scene. John has played with Jon Langford, Bethany Thomas, and The Bright Shiners, and his intricate, expressive guitar work adds depth and nuance to Rachel’s already compelling performances.
Rachel’s latest album, Old Sky New, was recorded at Grammy-winning Joyride Studios and was named one of the 13 Best Chicago Albums of 2024 by the Chicago Sun-Times. She’s also been featured on NPR’s Great American Folk Show and played at WFMT’s Folk Stage, steadily growing a loyal following among fans of story-driven, intimate performances.
