MUSICAL NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM- RANDY SABIEN, BILL CAMPLIN, & SATCHEL PAIGE
September 29, 2012 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
$35This event is a benefit for our wonderful museum, the Hoard Museum, the Fort Food Pantry, and local citizen group Heart of the City. Note that it is not at the Carpe- but at the museum at 401 Whitewater Avenue, with complimentary wine and appetizers beginning at 6pm, and the concert starting at 7.
This will be the fourth year for this event featuring virtuoso violinist Randy Sabien, with local talents Bill Camplin and Satchel Paige Welch (disclosure- they have substantial ties to the Cafe Carpe), as well as an opening set by Tim Southwick Johnson playing his songs based on Aldo Leopold’s A Sand County Almanac.
Tickets are $35 each, and are available at the Museum and the Cafe Carpe. Wine, appetizers, and desserts are included in the ticket price.
This is co-sponsored by Jones Dairy Farm, the Cafe Carpe, and several anonymous donors. Pat Belt and Maria Perez-Hametta do an incredible amount of work organizing this event.
