What these 2 bands have in common is the fabulous RUTHIE KRAUSE. This night is one of a series of CD release shows for Ruthie’s lovely new solo CD Ruthenium.
You are in for a treat with this great family band- father Rick Krause (guitar and vocals), daughters Katie (vocals) & Ruthie (violin and vocals), accompanied by Scott Wright on piano.
Original music and cover tunes ranging from Bob Wills to the Reverend Al Green to the Mills Brothers to Tom Waits sung in close family harmony- talent in abundance.
Also playing will be JP CYR & the RAMBLIN’ KIND, because they also appear on Ruthie’s CD. JP Cyr & The Ramblin’ Kind are a Country and Western band from Milwaukee, influenced by music from the 30’s to the present. They blend many roots music styles into their honky tonkin’ sound.
