Mineral Point (via Omaha) singer-songwriter KATIE BURNS will make her debut appearance here with Eric Miller on cello and John Birner on electric guitar.  Some of you may have heard Katie on the WPR 45 North last May  with author Dean Bakopoulos.  They performed their storylogues (Dean reads his stories in sections, with Katie performing songs in between that go with the story) on radio stations, and at art centers and book festivals.  Katie studied classical guitar in high school and majored in English and creative writing in college.  Her husband is an artisanal cheese maker, and rumor has it that she may bring some along.
