HEATHER QUAY and JON SVETKEY have been singing together for almost 20 years. It’s been longer than that since Jon last played at the Carpe, sporting some awesome shoes. Wonder if he still has them? Are they scuffed, or well-buffed?

Together, and separately, they have performed at venues including Club Passim, Johnny D’s, Cafe 939 at Berklee College, Columbia University and the now defunct Old Vienna Kaffehaus. Their songs embody elements of classic pop, folk and country music while showcasing their love of two-part harmony and fun. They decided to started using the name THE YELLOW ROOM for their duo at the end of 2015 because, well, it’s easier to pronounce than Quay and Svetkey!

Jon and Heather are on a road trip with their children, visiting old friends and taking in baseball games. And playing at old venues, with old friends like-
