Jill and the JAX:
The JAX feature Jill Kessenich providing lead and harmony vocals, and some more rhythm on mandolin and tambourizta (from her Bohemian roots). Steve (T-bone) Tesmer takes the lead solos on his kick-A Dobro™. Craig (Fizz-neck) Ficenec provides a solid bass line for all of us. He also amuses us with his tales of college garage band antics. Ben Knowles, the newest member, is our lead and rhythm guitarist, and provides some lead and harmony vocals. Their repertoire is cosmic Americana, shamelessly borrowing from Gram Parsons, Gillian Welch, John Prine, Lucinda Williams, Alison Krauss, Patty Griffin, Emmylou Harris…

3 Thin Dimes:
After two and a half years paying their dues at their weekly Paddy’s jam session, 3 Thin Dimes is finally ready for prime time. Old Time, Irish and Bluegrass, featuring the one and only Chirps Smith on Fiddle, as well as the above-mentioned Steve Tesmer and Ben Knowles.
