The Macarus Family Jamboree brings together 3 generations of the youguessedit Macarus family to play and sing together, accompanying & harmonizing with each other on music ranging from gospel to rock, traditionals, classics, and originals.  They all write and perform individually and with other musical & theatrical aggregations.

Momma Doe has acted and sung since high school.  Singer-songwriter guitarist and artist Kimmerjae (Johnson) has music and art at www.kimmerjae.com and www.bluestemstudioart.com.  Julianne is well-known in the Chicago area as an actress, songstress and violinist, having recorded and performed with Michael Smith and James McCandless as well as many others.  Jordan was a member in the rock band Winterhawk, and has web presences at www.planetjordan.com, www.jordanmacarus.com and www.enviromonster.com.   Jonathon has been a missionary and chemical engineer, juggles, tells stories and jokes, and has written a book, “A Day in the Life of Ivan Dentistavich and Other Related and Not Stories” relating his life experiences.  The third generation may be represented by Zachary, Sasha, and Jhenia who either sing or play guitar, drums and piano.

Bill Camplin is clearly outranked.  But I’m sure they are as polite as they are talented and will give him a corner of the stage.
