Fiddle champ GEORGIA RAE has discovered the magic of the loop pedal and opened a treasure trove of original material and a one-woman show. Inspired by contemporary artists from the Avett Brothers to Mungo Jerry, and a jazzy feel to her bow, with her loop or her band, Georgia Rae’s music and love for life will follow you out the door and into the next day.

 GEORGIA RAE and sister lead singer/uke KELLY JO anchor this band from Northern Illinois.  The band has always pushed the envelope of traditional music. Their progressive sound is inspired by a mix of Americana, contemporary folk and roots, and a little jazzy swing, all flavored with family harmony and youthful energy.  Their original songs are clever and catchy. Georgia Rae and Kelly Jo,  are joined by a solid driving rhythm “punk rockin’ momma” on guitar, Joe Burie on bass and Laura Lanza on mandolin. The family has played and traveled together since 2011.

Georgia Rae is the 2016 National Twin Fiddle Champion (NOTFA, ID) and a state grand champion 7 times (IL, WI, MN).
