KRAUSE FAMILY BAND

February 13, 2016 @ 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm

$10

Roots music by father Rick and his daughters Ruthie and Katie, plus.  This night they’ll be doing mostly love songs and a few anti-love songs to go with the Valentine theme on the 13th.

Here’s a little blurb from the Prairie Home Companion website (updated slightly):

If you grew up in the Krause family, you were destined to love music. They sang together and learned to play a variety of instruments. Now, the Krause Family Band is known for their close harmonies on standards and covers ranging from Bob Wills to the Reverend Al Green as well as their original music. Rick Krause (guitar, vocals, harmonicas, mandolin, song writing, stories, etc) heads up the group that includes daughters Katie Krause (lead vocals) and Ruthie (Krause) McQuinn (fiddle), plus Craig Radi (bass), Brian Montrey (sweet grooves and rich tones), and Scott Wright (keys). Their recordings include a 2007 CD, On This Bright, Sunny Day, a six-song EP, Just a Few, and 2015 Christmas album, A Krause Family Christmas. Learn more at
