CLAUDIA RUSSELL + BRUCE KAPLAN return to Café Carpe to celebrate the release of their long-awaited new album. The California duo has built a loyal following with Claudia’s luminous voice, finely crafted songs, and Bruce’s evocative guitar work and imaginative arrangements. She has also appeared in a number of shows at Northern Sky Theater and the Milwaukee Rep.

Their new record (produced by Julie Wolf [Indigo Girls, Ani DiFranco, Katie Dahl]) finds Russell writing with warmth, wit, and hard-earned wisdom, exploring love, loss, resilience, and the surprises that await in the second half of life.
