DAVE MCGRAW & MANDY FER
Dave McGraw and Mandy Fer
“McGraw and Fer combine to make one magical americana album [Seed of a Pine]…I could talk about all of the songs…until the cows come home. Honestly this is one of those…albums which ‘had me at hello.’ If you’re a fan of modern folk and americana, you can’t go wrong with Seed of a Pine.”

JOSH HARTY/ SATCHEL PAIGE/ ROD PICOTT
Josh Harty Satchel Paige Rod Picott
A great evening of song-swapping- it’s almost not right that you can hear all this talent for only $5.
About Rod’s latest CD-
WELDING BURNS: Rod Picott is back with a beautifully crafted new CD. Welding Burns is a fully realized songwriting marvel with characters so vivid the songs play like intimate 3 minute noir movies. Picott’s ragged and soulful voice spins songs of loss, desire, rapture and work while pedal steel guitar winds elegantly throughout the album. Welding Burns is an album about scars of the skin and scars of the heart. Three songs; “Welding Burns”, “Black T-Shirt” and “Rust Belt Fields” are co-written by Rod’s longtime collaborator Slaid Cleaves.
Of Madisonian via North Dakota Josh Harty-
“Harty has a warm, intimate performance style. You can ease into his songs from the first note and his voice has that perfect combination of resignation and hope. The songs are all downbeat, even mournful, and Harty’s performances are utterly convincing, whether on the doom-laden “Whiskey & Morphine”, the more upbeat tune (but downbeat lyrics) of “Sweet Solution” or an excellent cover of Brooks West’s “6th Avenue”.” Americana UK
About Satchel Paige-

PIPER ROAD SPRING BAND
Piper Road Spring Band is:
Randal Harrison – Fiddle
Bob Mason – Mandolin
John Widdecombe — Bass
Andy Trout — Guitar – Vocals
Bill Kangaroo — Washboard
Piper Road Spring Band was born into the age of rock & roll with individual backgrounds diverse as classical, cowboy, folk, blues and Dixieland. Influenced by some live performances of Doc Watson and Bill Monroe and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band release of “Will The Circle Be Unbroken” in the early 1970′s, they put away the electric amps and guitars and developed a unique acoustic/bluegrass style. They never completely abandoned their musical roots and have blended Irish fiddle tunes with American country, big band, novelty and space-aged Grateful Dead inspired jams.
The band continues to swing! With their strong bond of friendship, commitment to quality musicianship and continuing support of a strong fan base, Piper Road Spring Band invites you to join them as their show hits the road. The current Piper Road Spring Band roster has accumulated over 100 years of experience performing together.

CHAD ELLIOTT w/ BONITA CROWE
“Equal parts Townes Van Zant and Woody Guthrie. A remarkably competent finger style guitarist and arguably one of new folk’s most gifted new lyricists.”
Averaging over 100 shows per year, Chad Elliott has been on the road for more than a decade performing a blend of roots, blues and folk music. He has played across the country and has been lauded as a modern-day troubadour.
Elliott has released an astonishing 18 full-length albums since he began his songwriting career. The most notable being his latest studio album, “Redemption Man,” released in 2009. Elliott worked with producer and guitarist Bo Ramsey (Lucinda Williams, Greg Brown) on this album to achieve its distinctive electrified roots sound. It also features Pieta Brown on the song, “Same, Old Way,” which was the 2009 Woody Guthrie Festival song contest winner as well as a 3rd place winner in the 2009 International Songwriting Contest for the Americana category. Two other songs on this album, “Redemption Man,” and “Illinois,” won Elliott a new folk finalist spot in the 2008 Grassy Hill Kerrville Folk Festival.
There’s something in that Iowa soil- (Greg Brown, Dave Moore, Bo Ramsey, the Pines)
Above all the Iowa songwriter’s music slips stories about life as he has experienced it through living with the homeless, love, divorce, fatherhood and discovering inspiration in the modern world.
Chad will be accompanied by vocalist Bonita Crowe.
