JOURDAN HINES is a formally trained, and degreed, multi-instrumentalist whose playing covers a variety of styles including folk, bluegrass, electronic, rock, blues, jazz, funk, and classical. He performs regionally as a solo artist, and frequently with his wife Mary as the duo MJ, which was recently selected as finalists in Madison’s Triple M Radio Project M 2017. Last year, Jourdan won third place in the CD Baby’s Music Video Contest 2016 with his pop-bluegrass remake of Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop the Feeling! Jourdan is currently working on his first solo release titled Come Alive which will be available this summer 2017. The album is an eclectic mix of catchy originals and upbeat covers with a folk-bluegrass vibe. He likes to call the style feel-good-music because it is meant to make you smile.
