SUNDAE + MR. GOESSL is a new collaboration between resident Seattle, WA musicians Jason Goessl and Kate Voss. The duo embodies a spirit reminiscent of 1930s pop; repackaging classics with nuanced stylistic detours, ultimately imparting a ‘fresh’ vintage patina to the songs. They recently recorded an album of music from that era encompassing ragtime, pop, swing and jazz, featuring Voss’s sultry and honey-imbued vocals mixed with Goessl’s impossibly layered guitar work.
