GIRLS OF SMALL FOREST

September 30, 2016 @ 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm

$10

Indie-folk SMALL FOREST’s roots stretch out from the beautiful Door County peninsula in Wisconsin. Songwriting team JEANNE KUHNS and MARYBETH MATTSON sing original tunes and obscure covers across the peninsula and throughout the Midwest. They are played on Simply Folk and Lily Kupbeats Folk Festival Show on WDCB.

With lyrics that are both poetic and deliberate, Small Forest offers a new twist on the folk genre enchanting listeners with a balance of sweet and salty vocals, unique harmony arrangements, an undeniable charm. They perform with passion and honesty in a style that has been dubbed Indie-Progressive-Folk-Pop.
