NICHOLAS KEHOE and JOHNNY KERMOTT, originally from Johnson Creek WI and Sterling IL respectively, are a duo currently based in Minneapolis MN. Kehoe and Kermott began performing together after meeting at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater where they both studied music. Their music is rooted in folk-americana stylings featuring their vocal harmonies as they trade between fiddle, banjo, guitar and mandolin. The pair frequently collaborate with other musicians in various styles from gypsy-jazz to traditional Irish music. These and other influences have crept into the Americana backbone of their sound and give and added layer of color and character to their music.
