KATIE BURNS  is an indie/folk singer songwriter based out of Mineral Point. Her band includes herself and guitar, Eric Miller (Madison cellist) and Michael Sherry (Madison drummer). They play all originals. Her voice is ethereal and has a powerful effect on the listener. Her songwriting is said to capture moments in time. She has played all over the surrounding area in Opera Houses, coffee houses, galleries and wine bars. Her songs are featured on WPR’s 45 North, Simply Folk and Hersong. She continues to work with well known indie musicians based out of Omaha Nebraska to record her cds.

Katie is a mother of 3 and wife of a Wisconsin artisinal cheese maker.
