FENDRICK AND PECK

December 3, 2016 @ 8:15 pm - 10:45 pm

$15

Full of wonderful spirit, creativity, and heart, FENDRICK & PECK ’s neo-traditionalist folk music is a brave concoction of mature lyrics with delicate melodies, exquisite harmonies, and a dash of old school. “Talent by soul mates,” said one audience member, and indeed, it would be hard to believe Madeline and Brian (newly engaged) met a mere 4 years ago. With a constantly evolving performance experience, filled with old poems that stir the heart, evocative songs played on aged acoustic instruments, and charming stories, an evening with them is food for the soul. They live and thrive in the awkward space between deep questions and deep knowing with sparkling humor and enthusiasm.

Their new full length album, The Sandhill Crane, release date September 25, is a real beauty with several new original songs as well as two covers (one written by David Olney and the other by Madeline’s Grandfather, Richard Fendrick). Producer Timothy Frantzich says of the new work, “These are good and important songs not only because of their immediate beauty and harmony…but also because they remind of us of our two way healing connection with nature.”
