CENTRAL STANDARD TIME is an acoustic duo from eastern Iowa. They play original music similar to Simon & Garfunkel, John Denver, and Storyhill, with two guitars and vocal harmonies. They’ve been performing in coffeehouses, clubs, concert halls, churches, art and music festivals, on college campuses, and on live radio throughout the upper Midwest since 1996.

Their honest, unpretentious songwriting resonates with listeners and allows them to make connections and earn new fans at every show. During a performance at a showcase of local singer-songwriters at CSPS in Cedar Rapids, they finished our first song and the audience sat in silence until someone exclaimed, “Wow!” and the room erupted in applause.
